- Thorough knowledge / Practices on jigs / Fixtures for automobile components viz, averaging fixtures, assembly fixtures, press Tools, body in white / Weld jigs / Positioners
- Sound knowledge / Practices on special purpose machines for automobile industry viz, hydraulic / Pneumatic/ Servo Presses, testing equipments and assembly equipments etc.
- Good knowledge / Practices on conveying systems, material handling systems, balancers etc
- Fair knowledge in pneumatics / Hydraulics / Instrumentation ( PC Based, PLC Based and Servo Controls )
- In depth knowledge on Designing, Manufacturing and assembly process
- Adequate knowledge / Practices on measuring instruments
- Complete knowledge on estimation and costing
- Improbable skill sets for handling various departments
- Should have the knowledge of Product design / R & D / Tool design / Machine design
